Weston Hosler - Orchestra Director

Weston Hosler is a graduate of the Music Education program at Eastern Michigan University. Prior to employment at the Kenowa Hills School District, he was the Director of the Brighton String Orchestras, and taught private lessons in Brighton as well. While student teaching in the Saline Area Schools, he worked with students both in the classroom and outside, helping with one of the fiddle groups that now tours all over the state each summer. His lifelong love of music and learning keeps him active and abreast with new techniques, and old tricks. He is dedicated to each and every one of his students, and encourages them to play as much as they can. He has attended the Interlochen Summer Arts Camps and taught at the Michigan American String Teacher’s Association (MASTA) Camp in Howell. Along with teaching, Weston was also the President of the ASTA chapter at Eastern Michigan University, where he led a group who took donated instruments to New Orleans, in hopes of mending the string programs there. As a young teacher, Mr. Hosler is open to hear all comments by teachers, parents, and even his students. After all, the music program at Kenowa Hills is about the students, and every advantage to assist them is greatly appreciated. Please feel free to contact Mr. Hosler, he openly accepts your comments, and is willing to answer any questions you may have. To contact our director, please use the following email or phone number.
